The Enforcement and Training Committee will work to advance boating safety by researching and disseminating information on new techniques and technologies for marine law enforcement officers; developing training and certification programs; and promoting reciprocity through the advancement of uniform boating laws nationwide.

These tasks will be addressed through the work of three subcommittees. For 2008, those subcommittees include the Training and Certification Subcommittee, the Enforcement Techniques and Technology Subcommittee, and the Uniform Boating Laws Subcommittee.
