NASBLA accredited as standards developer organization

NASBLA has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute as a standards developer organization effective September 19, 2014.

Accreditation opens the path for review of the newly revised boating education standard, NASBLA 103-2015: Basic Boating Knowledge — Power, as an American National Standard. It also provides additional tools and opportunities to elevate state programs, unify community boating program efforts, and strengthen the work of state, nonprofit, public and federal partners in targeted, meaningful and efficient ways.
